EXOTYQ brings you an exclusive collection of pure handloom sarees, woven in the heritage village of Dhaniakhali situated in Hooghly, West Bengal. These sarees have a characteristic contrasting pallu and are sometimes accompanied by motifs which resemble and reflect the unique culture of the region. This is a dying art-form, and we, at EXOTYQ, are trying to revive it by giving the talented local artisans some exposure. These sarees have been around since the past few centuries and back in the day, people used to repurpose and upcycle these sarees into various other clothing apparels because of the durability and the long-lasting nature of these sarees.
